## Position Description
Introduction:
The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), a national leader in scientific research and development, located midway between Baltimore and Washington, DC is seeking an entry level Cyber Operations Analyst.
Job
Summary:
Help organizations to analyze, design, prototype, and assess security-related cyber architectures whose risk is measurable and tied to the performance of the higher level mission(s) that the cyber architectures help enable.
Duties (Listed in order of importance with the estimated amount of time spent at each task):
1. Help organizations to analyze, design, prototype, and assess security-related cyber architectures whose risk is measurable and tied to the performance of the higher level mission(s) that the cyber architectures help enable.(70%)
2. Document and communicate the results of cyber analyses in written and oral form to audiences at different experience/technical levels of expertise. (20%)
3. Develop new concepts for analyzing mission-cyber assurance. (10%)

## Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field. 5
years experience with software systems architecture, design, and networking knowledge. Good programming skills and a working knowledge of computer architectures. Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work bothindependently and on teams. Requires a Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications:
M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering. 7
years experience with software systems architecture, design, and networking knowledge. Familiarity with full life cycle system engineering process and/or applied research. Workingknowledge of IO/IA techniques, network modeling/simulation, and evaluation of cyber architectures. Team leadership or project management skills orinterest.
Special Working Conditions: Occasional travel required (
Security: Applicant selected will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.
