Our client, located in Somerset, NJ is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for an immediate full-time position. Details include:

The ideal candidate for this position will be a Senior Software Engineer with 5
years of experience in full life cycle production software development who is intimately familiar with software production and who can become part of a team creating and maintaining a suite of network software products. Responsibilities include hands on design and development of new product features and interfaces along with field and internal issue resolution.

The following qualifications are required for this position:
-At least 5 years of experience in production software development including source control, issue tracking, and version management. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in producing and releasing complex projects.
-Experience developing website and web applications with Java, Perl, C, Bash, and other Linux tools.
-Experience with SQL databases and complex queries.
-Experience with Javascript, JQuery and HTML.
-Solid understanding of networks, and network protocols: TCP/IP, SNMP, UDP, etc.
-Strong and current Linux knowledge including the compilation of the operating system and package management.
-Experience using and managing subversion source repositories.
-BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and/or relevant industry experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
