Our client, located in Allentown, PA is seeking a SQL Server DBA for an immediate full-time position. Details include:

Manager, Database Applications
Our client is a multi-regional medical laboratory with technologically facilities in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Health Network Laboratories serves the need of the public and health care communities performing more than 6.5 million clinical and anatomic pathology tests each year.

Job Duties:

The Manager, DBA is responsible for managing development, test, staging, training and production database environments and related technologies. This person will execute database administrator duties in a regulated, health care environment, with a strict adherence to following Configuration Management and SDLC practices. The DBA will also be responsible for the creation of database accounts, roles, privileges, etc. in accordance with requests from Authorized requestors according to Health Network labs (HNL) standard operating procedures. The Manager will be responsible for directing, coaching and mentoring staff in order to develop .Net, Visual Basic, C#, shell scripts and SQL procedures to support database maintenance, tuning, backup, restore and disaster recovery requirements and other software engineering projects.



Qualificatons:

Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Sciences or related field of study or equivalent with 10 years in information systems (Development or Engineering with DBA responsibilities), at least 4 in management experience within the health care or pharmaceutical industry. Clinical laboratory experience is helpful.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
