Job Description
Meadow Gold Dairy in Boise, ID has an immediate opening for a laborer in our Boise Production Plant. Full scale for this position is $17.69 an hour, and we offer a complete benefit package (health, dental, vision, 401(k); accrued vacation, sick leave, short term disability). Qualifications:
Must be able to work in a noisy environment; must be able to work in a humid environment; must understand and use personal protective equipment, including, but not necessarily limited to: protective eyewear, aprons, rubber boots, & safety gloves. Must be comfortable working in a busy plant environment, and must be aware of other employee activity. Must have skills relating to learning various job functions quickly, and must be adaptable to both hours and type of work. Primary activity is plant (production/blow-mold) work, but may be called upon to work in other functions within the department; if labor needs dictate such. Needs to be dependable and have good attendance habits, must be able to follow instructions and think through various job functions. Must be flexible and amiable with other employees and supervision. Employee shall abide by all company rules and regulations, including all GMP''s and Safety, Quality, and Food practices working with safety first. Must be able to operate both manual and electric pallet jacks and forklifts. Responsible for filling out all required paperwork accurately and neatly.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Stand 10-11 hours per shift or more if overtime is required.
Possess a HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
Turn & twist at waist level with moderate waist level bending
Visually inspect and organize work areas
Moderate lifting up to 60 pounds - Frequent lifting of milk jugs
Be able to understand and follow verbal and written directions
Have the ability to work alone or as part of a team and to exercise independent judgment
Be able to use simple math
Observe all company safety rules and regulations
Observe all company Good Manufacturing Practices
Food Safety Hygiene must be followed at all times - for specifics see a manager.
Know and understand the various machines and stack off responsibilities for 2 pack functions.
Must be able to work in various environments, including cooler from time to time, and in production facility.
Must be able to operate a pallet lift both manual and electric.
Must be able to offload cases and keep work area clean and free of debris.
Be able to perform these essential duties and responsibility with minimal supervision.
Good Attendance required.
