Rotating Equipment Expert offers the opportunity to:
Be the Subject Matter Expert for rotating equipment, maintaining a high level of technical competence regarding specific equipment design, mechanical component function and process application
Be the Subject Matter Expert for rotating equipment RCM, FMEA and Preventative/Predictive Maintenance (PM/PdM) programs
RCM/FMEA Facilitator for large projects
Drive organization-wide knowledge sharing so that the organizations intellectual capital, know-how, information and experience is shared inside and (as appropriate) outside the organization with partners and stakeholders
Participate in Business Unit, site and global experience exchanges
Design, develop and maintain internal policies/procedures/workflows relating to rotating equipment asset strategies and to ensure consistency of their application
Benchmark/statistical analysis of rotating equipment SAP/Meridium data to identify best practices and for KPI tracking
Identify systemic reliability/availability problems across the business units
Use best practices/KPIs to drive improvement in rotating equipment reliability
Required
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree with 8
years of relevant experience OR a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree with 2-6
years of relevant experience OR a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or related degree with 0-4
years of relevant experience OR a high school diploma with 10
years experience performing rotating equipment maintenance/repair/SMEA/PdM functions and supervision
Experience in a chemical industrial field or similar field with a Process, Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical background
Expertise with design/operation/maintenance of rotating equipment
Knowledge of risk management
Broad technical background
Familiarity with Process Control Technology principles and PM/PdM principles
Experience in reliability centered engineering
Proven problem solving and analytical abilities and the ability to influence personnel/organizations/networks with whom they have no direct reporting structure
Basic knowledge regarding RCA
Ability to work in an international environment.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Six Sigma knowledge.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
