Job Description:
The Quality Assurance Specialist position is responsible for supporting the QA team by identifying and resolving product quality issues surfaced by customers through returns, customer service and online product reviews in a timely manner. Additionally, the role coordinates and administers Vendor Quality Audit, Product Testing, Product Inspections, and Social Compliance Audit Programs. This position must also provide superior service to internal/external customers through positive and professional communication, analysis and problem solving skills.
What You'll Do:
Coordinates the entire QA efforts and meet with the appropriate buying and QA team members on product issues including Customer Rating & Review trend reporting, Returns, CSO (customer service order), and Early Warnings. Ensures that consistent and proper analysis methods are followed. Maintains records of corrective actions and follow up with results reporting.
Reviews the customer ratings & reviews process within Merchandising, ensuring timely response to all low scoring customer reviews. Completes the initial categorization and prioritization of all product safety and quality related low scoring customer reviews and collaborates with the appropriate QA team member to resolve the issue.
Monitors product returns and CSO (customer service order) trend reporting by buying area. Completes the initial identification and categorization of trends and maintains records of corrective actions and follow up with results reporting.
Participates in the early warning process ensuring timely response to all Product Safety and Product Quality early warning issues. Identifies and researches all initial quality related early warning issues, collaborates with the appropriate QA team member to resolve the issue, and maintains records of corrective actions and follow up with results reporting.
Reviews customer experience reports from Marketing and categorizes trends in order to increase the department's understanding of the customer. Identifies potential early trends of customer dissatisfaction in order to take corrective action early in the products lifecycle.
Coordinates efforts to ensure all Product Quality Quarantine issues are resolved. Facilitates or completes stock checks as needed.
Supports QA staff with the Vendor/Factory Matrix process assuring accurate data is available for cross functional team reviews.
Facilitates the analysis of the private brand product testing process ensuring private brand products meet the required testing protocol.
Reviews product performance test reports and issue GCC documentation for CPSIA requirements.
Identifies and communicates with vendor and audit partner as needed to schedule vendor audits & product inspections.
Communicates audit results to QA staff. Follows up with vendors on corrective action plans and scheduling of reaudits.
Perform initial investigation of Product Safety complaints.
Organizes and files audit results, inspection results, test reports, procedural documents, and other forms and data as needed.
Responsible for additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
1-3 years relevant work experience.
Effective communication skills.
Proven knowledge and skill in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
