Looking for a change of scenery? We seek a Masters educated RN with previous educator experience in Labor & Delivery for the role of Clinical Nurse Educator. In this role you will join the Clinical Education team at a 200-bed, level III trauma center whose Labor & Delivery unit has approximately 900 births anually. You will provide support to the staff of the birth center consisting of 14 LDRPs, 3 Triage bays, and a 6-bed nursery. You will work collaboratively with the clinical education team to support organization wide needs, including but not limited to, initial nursing staff orientation and development.
Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Nursing and be licensed as an RN in the state of Washington (or have the ability to gain this licensure). Strong preference given to candidates with an MSN. Must have five (5) years clinical nursing experience as an RN that includes at least two (2) years in Labor & Delivery. Healthcare provider BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP) are also required.
