Olin Chlor Alkali Products Division is currently hiring a Customer Support Representative for the Henderson, NV location. This position will receive and process complex customer orders, inquiries and/or complaints covering products ordered and support customers through specialized technical knowledge/product applications. He or she proactively maintains an ongoing relationship with selected customers and sales staff. The Customer Support Representative may handle multiple products or means of transportation (railcar, pipeline, barge, truck, etc) and is responsible for managing the order process from order receipt through shipment and invoicing and assisting accounting with receipt of payment, as needed. This role determines the service and quality requirements of assigned accounts and coordinates all Olin activities to meet these requirements.

_Other essential functions/basic duties include:_
Manages customer accounts and is responsible for all customer needs and inquiries
Provides product availability, specifications and schedule information within established guidelines
Monitors customer inventory and customer orders
Serves as link between customers, logistics, sales, quality, technical services and accounting to assure responsiveness
Tracks order activity and alerts appropriate staff of any potential delivery problems. Expedites the delivery of selected orders
Researches and obtains resolution of a variety of customer complaints and issues. Resolves issues with the customer
Supports Technical Services as needed to resolve technical difficulties and issues with the customer
Processes daily shipments (rail, truck, pipeline, barge)
Supports accounting as needed with investigating payment discrepancies and makes adjustments to bring accounts up-to-date
Provides guidance and assistance to new or less experienced staff
Maintains detailed records related to customer service activities in accordance with the company's record retention policy
Prepares reports in accordance with the company policies and submits by required deadlines
Maintains proper relationships with the sales force and technical services to understand their requirements and priorities
Prioritizes work and shifting demands to include special projects and plant committees
Maintains working knowledge of the company's products, current plant production and shipping capabilities
Schedules/coordinates barge and loadings
Rotates on-call after hours to support customer needs
_Essential Job Requirements_
Bachelor's degree ; Business, Logistics/Transportation, Marketing or related field strongly preferred
Minimum 2 years customer service or chlor alkali experience
Manufacturing/industrial work setting; chemical industry preferred
Rail or truck carrier experience preferred
Ability to handle multiple and shifting priorities while working in a fast-paced environment
Outstanding customer service skills and sound judgment
Effective time management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to be on-call on a rotating basis
Knowledge of US regulations for rail and truck shipments preferred
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); SAP experience preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
