Ascension Health Information Services (AHIS) located at Genesys Health System in Grand Blanc, MI is seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to join their team of professionals supporting the Allscripts Sunrise Clinical Manager EHR system and other clinical systems. This candidate will be part of a team both supporting the production systems and using their clinical knowledge to assist in implementation of new systems, modules and enhancements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting with customers to define business requirements, custom coding, problem analysis and resolution, and implementation support as well as on-going maintenance and support of the production systems.
### QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS Degree, preferred
Clinical background, specifically RN Degree highly preferred
4 or more years experience with Systems Analysis in a Healthcare environment is required.
Knowledge of Eclipsys/Allscripts Sunrise Clinical Manager a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working with customers to define business needs then translating them to system requirements a must
Ability to troubleshoot software issues a must
Must be able to grasp technical information and utilize it to implement and support clinical and business systems
Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to manage one''s own work independently in a fast paced team environment
Knowledge of project management techniques and tools a plus and IT General Controls
Ability to fulfill On-Call required

### RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide application support, including issue identification, triage and solution implementation
Work with customers to analyze and identify business requirements, translating those into applications solutions
Assist in design sessions, apply technical and clinical knowledge to suggest application solutions.
Perform system configuration, maintenance and support for applications as requested. Systems include but not limited to Allscripts SCM, GE CPN, Surgery Information Systems and T-Systems.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of clinical business systems and workflow
Assist in analysis and testing during major upgrades.
Follow Ascension Health Information Systems PMO guidelines for all support and project work
Following AHIS IT General Controls guidelines and requirements including Change Control management
Have the ability to fulfill on-call requirements
Perform other duties as assigned
