Web Application Developer
We are currently engaged with a client who is seeking a Web Application Developer on a consulting to full time direct employee basis. In this role, the Web Application Developer will:
Design, code, unit test, debug, technical documentation and ongoing support of web-based software using various software platforms including, but not limited to, .Net, web services, JavaScript, XML, and SQL.
Write .NET, JavaScript and SQL code for web applications.
Write technical specifications and design documentation for new development projects and enhancements. Develops software applications and functionality in accordance with business requirements and technical specification
Manage code and work items effectively in Team Foundation Server.
Participate in code and technical architecture reviews. Reviews range from single routines of software code to complex technical architecture. Complex solutions may require partnership with other development teams.
The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following:
Software design and development using the Microsoft technology stack
Web-based technologies, specifically .NET, C# or VB, JavaScript, SQL and web service protocols.
Knowledge of object-oriented design principles, multi-tier architectures and common design patterns.
Firm comprehension of Software as a Service development.
Ability to comprehend business requirements, functional and technical specifications delivered by the Business Analysts to implement software solutions.
