JOB DUTIES: Analyze business requirements, procedures, and problems to guide Business intelligence development team for application implementation, to improve new and existing software applications; utilize Business Intelligence reporting tools, Oracle 11G database, SQL Plus database tool, PeopleSoft software, PL/SQL program, Java coding language, Ab-initio data loading tool and Unix operating system; identify business and data requirements and convert them into conceptual & logical data models; gather and analyze requirements, design, review and implement software solutions for business users; prepare technical and functional specification documents based on the requirements document; streamline internal processes and develop best practices model for developers; provide effort estimation for the development and maintenance of software applications/systems and delegate tasks to the developers; provide technical guidance and feedback to the team to resolve implementation issues and help in subsequent support; co-ordinate and support data warehousing technology (Business Objects, Ab-initio, PeopleSoft analytics and PL/SQL ) deployment and implementation and responsible for application/server administration and lead for application infrastructure support.
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a computer science-related occupation. Experience must include: BO XIR3 Designer and Reporting (Deski and WEBI); design development documents; technical specifications and test plans; SQLs; Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Autosys, PeopleSoft, Ad-initio and tuning concepts 8; data analysis. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
