Description
The Automotive MEMS technology group at Analog Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADI) designs cutting edge inertial sensors for use in safety critical automotive applications. As part of a cross functional team, the Applications Engineer provides a critical link between the external Automotive customer base and the internal design and product engineering teams. Applications engineers play a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction through technical engagement, critical problem solving, and rapid response to support requests. Additionally, Applications Engineers define new product features and functions that that ensure ADI products maintain a differentiated competitive advantage.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop evaluation systems that integrate hardware and software design to create real-time, interactive customer experiences
Create product collateral (Datasheets, Apps Notes, white papers, etc.) to be published both internally and externally
Evaluate ADIs next generation products and guide the implementation of their feature set and capabilities
Benchmark ADIs products against competitive offerings
Create product demos that showcase ADIs unique competitive advantages
Candidate must be a strong independent worker and highly motivated. The candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and communications abilities, have strong analytical and lab skills, and have outgoing, positive attitude for customer and field sales facing interactions. Travel may be required (10%).
Qualifications
Minimum BS degree in EE or ECE with 5
years of industry experience (or MS degree and 3
years experience).
Background in design, product engineering or applications engineering is preferred. Background in Automotive products or MEMS is beneficial.
For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. As such, applicants for this position except US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) may have to go through an export licensing review process.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
