Job Duties:
Coordinates all quality functions with production units.
Facilitates the development, implementation, training, and maintenance of quality systems that adhere to quality standards.
Coordinates the effective and timely resolution to customer concerns.
Investigates and analyzes quality based information to support ongoing quality related continuous improvement efforts within the organization.
Acts as champion to all quality related elements of the quality system, adheres to quality management standards.
Backs up Quality Manager position - Occasionally performs the job functions of a higher ranking quality position in his/her absence
Performs other duties as directed by supervision.
Provides effective supervision of hourly positions within the Quality department.
Qualifications:
Bachelor''s degree preferred.
3-7 yrs metalworking manufacturing experience with TS, QS or ISO methods.
Knowledge of quality concepts and systems.
Experience with machining, welding, fabrication processes desired.
Must be self-motivated and have strong communication skills.
