Position Duties:
Provide leadership in advancing CAE capability, efficiency and coverage to enable a more effective GPDS process.
Benchmark virtual capabilities (internal & external)
Help develop the vision for CAE overall within Ford
Help identify gaps in CAE process/technology
Facilitate alliances between functions and vendors to advance virtual verification methods and processes
Minimum Requirements:
Knowledgeable about the current, as well as emerging technologies and trends in CAE
CAE experience, preferably in multiple attributes/functions
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
Proven ability to innovate
Proven leadership skills and teamwork
Preferred
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Engineering
Ph.D. in Engineering
Automotive or Aerospace experience
