QA Analyst Summary
On behalf of our client Procom Services is searching for a QA Analyst for a testing role within the Core Banking Test Team on the Fidelity Systematics IM IMPACS application. This role will work in a matrixed, cross functional environment with a direct report to a Core Banking Test Team Lead and an indirect report, at times, to Test Leads for assigned projects. They will be liaising with Core Banking project team members to understand functional requirements and undertake QA functional testing for the project, in line with defined standards. The assignment will require ability to work remotely and independently within the Core Banking project team to complete all assigned tasks within identified timeframes. An in depth functional knowledge of Fidelity Systematics IM IMPACS application and their interdependencies is also required for this position.
QA Analyst Mandatory Skills
-In depth functional experience of Fidelity Systematics IM IMPACS application - 3 Yrs
-Creating Test Strategies, Documenting Test Plans, and Executing Test Cases End-to-End - 2 Yrs
-In depth functional experience of Fidelity Systematics IM IMPACS application - 3 Yrs
-Experience as Test Analyst vs tester - 3 Yrs
-Ability to develop detailed test cases using requirements and other application documentation - 3 Yrs
-Knowledge of the Software and Project Management life cycles within a formal methodology process
-Experience with HP Quality Center (including, Requirements, Test Plan, Test Lab & Defects) - 3 Yrs
-Ability to operate successfully in a remote based position
Nice To Have Skills
- In depth technical experience of other Fidelity Systematics applications would be a plus
- TSO/Easytrieve experience within an MVS environment - 2 Yrs
- Any experience with SQL, Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros, Visual Basic, Vlookup, etc.), Access

- Excellent communications, problem-solving and decision making skills.
- The ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Proven experience to work efficiently and effectively in a fast paced remote based environment
- Should have sound documentation and communication skills

QA Analyst Job Details
The successful applicant will be required to undertake the following tasks within the team:
-Review, analyze and evaluate detailed business and functional requirements, documentation, process flows and data models in order to complete the following:
- Review requirements and design documents to ensure requirement documentation is testable
- Document Requirements Traceability where needed in conjunction with Project application BA?s
- Plan and document High level test case scenarios for assigned application
- Working with Test Leads and Test Data Mining team (TDM) to identify the test account scenarios and request volumes needed
- Write detailed reusable test cases for in scope high level test case scenarios
- Assist to upload Traceability matrix and test cases to QC
- Scheduling and execution of test case execution within QC in line with Bank processes
- Contribute to the development of the Core Banking Test Strategy & Test Plans through
- Assisting to document high level in scope testing needs
- Identification of assumptions/dependencies for in scope testing, Environment and processing needs (Batch Requirements, required applications, processing date overrides etc.)
- Back Up assistance to CB Test Lead on projects as required. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting to create Test Strategies, Test Plans and detailed execution schedules
- Capturing Batch requirements
- Tracking and follow up of required approval requests
- Working to ensure all testers have the necessary systems access
- Assisting to divide task work amongst application testers
- Assisting to track task progress of assigned application testers
- Conducting daily testing status calls, defect management follow up, daily reporting
- Participation in project team meetings and leading working session meetings as needed
- Collaborate with Core Banking team to ensure that the team is kept informed of task status and that any problems and issues are escalated appropriately and clearly communicated
