Benchmark product and material costs and compare to current purchase price.
Recommend modifications to supply base on a continuous basis, based on benchmarking.
Monitor, evaluate and report on trends/short & long term forecasts for commodities used as raw materials.
Identify new regions and suppliers for commodities.
Analyze inventory spends by item.
Provide reporting on inventory spend by category, product, region and supplier.
Track and evaluate emerging markets in relation to current and future items purchased.
Monitor, track and identify areas of concern on PPV and IPV in Oracle.
Alternate for Operations Cost Analyst and Operations Corporate Analyst.
Any special projects that are assigned by department management.
BS degree and two years of relevant experience.
Fully conversant with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and Word.
Highly detail oriented and organized.
Well-developed time management skills.
Must be able to self-manage and operate with minimal supervision and handle assignments that are complex and urgent in nature.
Ability to write correspondence
Perform moderately complex mathematical calculations.
Possess strong communications skills.
Good interpersonal and leadership skills.
Must thrive in a team-oriented environment.
Previous experience with a direct-marketing company is a distinct plus.
MBA and/or Finance/Accounting backgroundEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
