Responsible for preparation of all foods during an assigned shift, ensuring the efficiency of the line and kitchen operation on a scheduled shift is completed in accordance with company specifications and standards.
Responsible for preparing, seasoning, finishing, and garnishing all visible food products in the kitchen in accordance with established recipes and specifications.
Follows all recipes, control procedures, and specifications.
Assists in all areas of food production, as needed.
Responsible for various line cooking assignments such as broiler, saut , and fry stations, as needed.
Participates as a team member with lead line cooks, dishwashers, shift supervisors, kitchen managers, food servers, utilities, and other pertinent associates in producing a smooth, efficient operation on a scheduled shift.
Responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary area at all times in accordance with state health regulations.
Notifies manager/supervisor of low inventory and recommends new inventory; communicates opportunities and concerns.
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned or determined by management or supervisors and moves with a sense of urgency.
Adheres to all company policies and procedures as established in the Team Member Handbook.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One to two years experience or training as a cook''s apprentice in a large, full-service hotel or restaurant preferred.
Must be 21 years old.

Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
Exposed to weather conditions and prevalent temperature changes.
Subject to moderate to high ambient noise levels.
Frequently required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
Hazards include, but are not limited to, cuts from broken glass and metal cans, burns, slipping and tripping.
Frequently required to wash hands and/or wear gloves.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and policy manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and guests.
Expressing or exchanging ideas or instructions by the spoken word.
MATHMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
