Job Description:
The candidate in this position is responsible for friendly and efficient personal service to all guests by following the department performance standards. Informs the guest of all special events and make menu and daily special recommendations. Assists in creating a fine dining experience that will ensure the return of the guest. Ensures that the department is in compliance with company policies and procedures to ensure guests receive extraordinary guest service and operations run smoothly.
Job Requirements:
Excellent guest service skills.
Basic mathematical skills.
Pleasant phone manner.
Knowledge of food, food product, food preparation, and beverage product.
Knowledge of service, service etiquette, and standard service practices for full service restaurants.
Knowledge of wines and wine service.
Understanding of property policies and procedures.
The skills and abilities necessary for effective performance within this position are a High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Two or more years experience in a full service high volume restaurant preferred. Prior knowledge of micros system helpful.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
