Prominent law firm's intellectual property group is seeking a highly qualified Patent Agent with 5
years of significant experience preparing filing, and prosecuting patent applications for software including operating systems,
middleware software, directory servers, network management, virtualization and cloud computing. Candidate Must have a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with work experience as a software developer, excellent academic credentials, and Must be registered to practice before the USPTO.
Compensation is commensurate to experience.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Provides counseling and strategic advice and brings its litigation skills to bear on intellectual property disputes of all types.
-Trademark, trade secret, and copyright cases, as well as patent reexamination and trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings in the United States Patent and Trademark Office.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
