The candidate preferably has nuclear background, very good interpretation skills and the ability to work/interpret film with others and to oversee another NDE company's RT processes and make recommendations if applicable. PAUT experience is also a plus, as these welds will have had PAUT performed on them as well. Good communication and computer skills a must.The job is expected to be no less than 6/10s (could be more) with a 2 to 3 month duration.

## Job Description
Position Title: Branch NDT Level III
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Pay Range: Based on Experience
Reports to: Branch Regional Manager
Manages: None
Other Requirements: Hands on position, may require on site work at customer's location. Occasional out of town and overnight travel with or without notice.
GENERAL SUMMARY
The primary function of this position is to ensure the implementation, maintenance and on-going development of Branch''s NDE personnel qualification and certification and NDE technical programs, as maintained by TISI's Quality Department.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Periodically review and assist in the update of TISI's NDE certification examinations to ensure the effectiveness of this key assessment process.
Recommend program improvements as needed.
Revise Branch''s NDE personnel qualification and certification procedures as necessary to maintain program compliance.
Develop and maintain all Branch Process Specifications (TIPS) for NDE, including the development and maintenance of all NDE technical procedures, forms and supporting documentation.
Assist in the preparation of capital expense and operating budgets relating to the above programs, as needed.
Provide support for Branch training initiatives relating to the areas which assigned, and other training as requested by supervision.
Serve as a Branch Representative to ASME, API, ASTM and other bodies, as needed.
Maintain an awareness and understanding of all applicable regulations, codes, standards, and specifications, as well as company policies and procedures; complete any training necessary to support these activities and communicate these requirements to affected branch personnel as necessary.
Communicate with customers on technical and program issues.
Provide training, as necessary, to affected personnel, including customers, to obtain program compliance, process efficiency and effectiveness, cooperation, continued education, and morale.
Participate in other general administrative and technical activities such as cost reduction methods, communications, safety, housekeeping, and employee training.
NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Performs all other duties as directed by supervision, to include, but not limited to:
Assist branch in the preparation of certification program documentation.
Assist branch in the preparation of branch and/or customer specific procedures
Perform Quality Control (QC) reviews of:o Critical Job (CJ) orders for nuclear-related services;o Job or branch-specific procedures;
Completed inspection reports and related documentation.
Provide QC assistance in the qualification of job or branch-specific procedures.
Provide QC support of R, NR and VR program activities.
Assist in selected, customer-requested projects
JOB STANDARDS
QUALIFICATIONS
Requires high school diploma or equivalent, technical school or college credits preferred.
Must possess a current ASNT NDE Level III certificate in the NDE method responsible; and possess adequate knowledge in the NDE method responsible.
Must have successfully completed all TISI required training (i.e., Safety, Smith Driving, Quality, etc.).
Proven ability to perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice.
Proven ability to prioritize and complete work assignments by specific deadlines.
Proven ability to follow and communicate to subordinates precise directions and procedures of the customer on the project.
Must be able to communicate with supervisor and co-workers.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is conducted in a semi-private office/cubicle setting.
