Engility is seeking a Sr. Engineering/Geo-Spatial Specialist to provide operational support, research and development support, training support, and subject matter expert advice and decision support to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) as part of its Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction (CW) Reachback contract. The successful candidate will provide general knowledge and subject matter expertise in hazardous materials and their physical characteristics associated with releases into the atmosphere from containment, transport/dispersion in the atmosphere and/or inside structures.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Provides hazard prediction modeling and simulation in technical areas involving Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive (CBRNE) hazards/phenomena resulting from chemical, biological, nuclear, and radiological incidents or attacks.
Furthermore, the successful candidate will have the ability to use GIS-related analytic functions to improve the quality of Reachback''s CBRNE analyses.
Provides liaison with governmental agencies and research organizations.
Ability to work in a team environment and with a flexible schedule, with good communication skills for preparation of special briefings and reports.
Provides technical Reachback 24/7 to combatant commanders regarding a wide variety of technical experience.
Extended hours may be required due to mission requirements.
Prepares scientific reports, provides technical support to software engineers, and assists with development of CBRNE effects models.
Performs complex engineering and scientific analyses, and assessments for chemical, biological, nuclear and radiological incidents, accidents, events, and military actions.
Provide technical support/advice, and runs model and simulation tools to generate responses to combatant command queries involving CBNRE agents and threats.
Assists in developing, integrating, testing, verifying, validating, and applying CBRNE software, based on results of experiments, and predicts phenomena based on their theoretical and computational methods.
MS or PhD degree in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

years of experience with GIS, including knowledge of cartographic mapping principles and geospatial data analysis.
Fluency in multiple ESRI ArcGIS platforms, including ArcGIS 9.3, 10, and 10.1.
Knowledge of standard Microsoft Office applications.
Demonstrated ability to multitask.
Must demonstrate a strong commitment to product quality.
Excellent interpersonal skills; able to successfully resolve conflicts and work as a member of a team.
Applicant must be eligible to obtain and maintain a US DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
Shift work required.
Strong background in HPAC, ALOHA, HazUS, and ICWater.
Formal trainer certification (e.g. CTT+).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
