Job Description:
NGA provides timely, relevant, and accurate Geospatial Intelligence in support of national security. NGA presents Geospatial Intelligence in all its forms, and from whatever source--imagery, imagery intelligence, and geospatial data and information--to ensure the knowledge foundation for planning, decision, and action. NGA strives to provide easy access to Geospatial Intelligence databases for all stakeholders and to create tailored, customer-specific Geospatial Intelligence, analytic services, and solutions.

Identifies gaps, evaluates information, conducts analysis, and produces products. Develops various analytic techniques to yield judgments and assessments that offer value-added insights that extend beyond the most obvious connections. Facilitates all-source analysis relating to complex strategic assignments driven by priorities and tactical intelligence. Applies analytic expertise to make recommendations for future products; anticipates customer intelligence needs through the proactive identification of intelligence gaps associated with risks; and explores anomalies, new developments, and trends. Edits the work of junior staff to provide polished products. Serves as a mentor to Associate and Consultant analysts.
Develop key indicators to measure performance which will leverage existing metrics in the Agency. Be able to detail the way in which the data will be collected and reported.
Provide communications planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Provide team alignment support to include designing, preparing, and facilitating recurring meetings and workshops at various levels of the Agency.
Shall provide decision support to various stakeholders throughout NGA by developing the decision frameworks, preparing key participants, facilitating decision meetings, and providing reports to document the decisions.
Shall be able to evaluate current business practices at NGA and provide business process improvement support (e.g., program management).
Will support the development and implementation of a strategic plan and concept of operations to implement the strategic plan.
Will facilitate and coordinate a variety of strategic planning activities at NGA.
Will conduct activities in support of (1) defining and instilling new values, attitudes, norms, and behaviors within an organization that support new ways of doing work and overcome resistance to change; (2) building consensus among customers and stakeholders on specific changes designed to better meet their needs; (3) planning, testing, and implementing all aspects of the transition from one organizational structure or business process to another; and (4) implementing the configuration management processes necessary to control and monitor change/transformation.
Provide data to demonstrate what can be achieved and how it can be achieved by using external references and the best practices on which to base evaluations and to design work processes.
