Cambridge Investment Research, Inc., a national leader as a securities broker/dealer, has an opening in Marketing for a full time AMPS Operation Specialist.
The Specialist works under the direction of Supervisor, Asset Management and Product Services and processes various aspects of the Asset Management and Product Services function.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Process paperwork in departmental queue(s) including but not limited to new accounts, address changes, IRA distributions, wire requests, and incoming checks, ; Accurately enter and update information in departmental database software accordingly and in a timely manner
Provide customer service related to Asset Management and Product Services and supply information as needed at request of management, company associates, and Rep/Advisors
Communicate internal policies and procedures and inform management of potential violations
Provide training for Rep/Advisors on procedures and processes related to the Asset Management and Product Services departmental functions
Computer Skills: Database software, e-mail, Internet software, spreadsheets and their macros, word processing, and company proprietary software used by the department. Typing skills in the 40 - 45 wpm range and 10 Key proficient.
Education/
Experience:
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates and Licenses:
No licenses or certificates are required for this position.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
