Job Details: The Director of Continuous Improvement is a cross-functional, dynamic leader and communicator with an extensive operations background, capable of evaluating existing operating processes and making data-based recommendations on operational improvements to increase organizational safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness. This candidate must demonstrate past experience with lean process and project management; implementing improvement countermeasures; enterprise change management strategy and deployment; and writing organizational policies, procedures and processes. The Director of Continuous Improvement will provide leadership and make recommendations to the Executive Team and CEO on how to improve operations and further integrate lean systems and culture into all aspects of the organization, in a highly interdependent and coordinated manner. The Director will lead a team of continuous improvement specialists who serve Signature Healthcare who deliver lean training and coaching, policy deployment and implementation, and focused improvement facilitation and support; develop strategy and policy to support lean deployment at Signature Healthcare; deliver focused improvement results;and lead an annual planning cycle for policy deployment and focused improvements that lead to world class performance. Principal Job Duties & Major Responsibilities - Team Leadership Create and maintain visible and effective cross-functional working relationships. Provide leadership and direction for continuous improvement throughout organization. Support managers to drive performance to meet department and organizational goals and objectives. As part of the Executive Team, the Director will make recommendations for and document all policy, process, protocol and procedure improvement, overseeing the governance steering committee. Manage department budget, ensuring the business and operating model is focused on delivering results, as well as driving efficiency, increasing productivity and cost savings/reductions to desired targets. As a team leader, create a world class team of continuous improvement coaches who have infectious passion for people and process improvement.
