REQUIRED:
Minimum of 5 years Information Technology experience
Broad knowledge of multiple IT disciplines including Windows and Unix platforms; Oracle and Microsoft SQL database environments; and networking.
Knowledge of security best practices and concepts
Familiarity of regulatory compliance requirements (PCI, GLBA, SOX, other global privacy regulations)

Must be able to work in a team
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks to complete independently and within established time frames
Detailed oriented
BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and formal education. CISSP preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
Performing risk assessments around security risks to the organization. In performing risk assessments, subject matter experts may need to be consulted, as well as persons in the relevant business units that are involved in the issue being assessed.
Analyze all information available to determine accurate risk exposure and document findings.
Work with appropriate personnel to identify and document compensating controls which may mitigate or lower risk exposure.
Work with business owner and/or vendor in preparing remediation plans to limit impact to the business, yet maintain a secure and compliant environment.
Ensure that business owners understand how the discovered security risks impact the business and its reputation.
Track issues to closure.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
