Social Media Manager ? who can serve as a thought leader in social media marketing and also get involved in content strategy and development (a hands-on writer). Profile ? Three-plus years of professional experience in leading social media strategy, content and initiatives for a customer or B2B brand.
This person will report to a senior director of communications and will
Develop and lead social media strategy
Oversee social media channels focusing on increasing online engagement and driving external communications
Drive and oversee all social news, content creation and social media responses
Build relationships cross-functionally - at all levels and across multiple geographies
Communicate in an outstanding way ? verbally and in writing
Juggle ? you will have a lot of projects to manage and knowing how to prioritize will be crucial
Run social media revenue-driving campaigns
Serve as the voice of the company for all social channels
Develop, implement and monitor social media policies on a global level
Define KPIs, measure and analyze results
Stay ahead of the competition by monitoring trends, experimenting with new ideas and constantly improving the company?s social media approaches
Be a digital native with knowledge or arrange of platforms, including Facebook (and Fan Pages), Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
Write for a range of corp comms channels, such as press releases, newsletters, pitches, blogs, internal communications, etc.
Use tracking and monitoring tools, including Radian6, Crimson Hexagon, Sysomos, etc.
Results-focused ? with a laser focus on generating ROI from social
Be able to travel approximately 20% of the time
Hold a Bachelor?s degree
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
