Product Development Manager
We're working with a growing children's apparel client on a search for a Product Development Manager. Primary responsibilities center on coordinating all information, communication and follow-up for assigned brands with design, graphic design, sourcing and overseas agents/offices throughout the line development process.
Primary/Essential Job Functions:
1. Create and prepare product development tech packages seasonally. Ensure accurate set-up and maintenance of seasonal line styles and SMU's in Blue Cherry.
2. Manage product approvals and development tasks for lab dips, fabrics, trims, prototypes and graphic art and embellishments.
3. Communicate daily with import offices.
4. Review all fit samples and pre-production to ensure accuracy for actual production; communicate with customers as needed
5. Coordinate with sourcing and planning to maintain costing for each brand
Education Requirements: Four year degree.
Work Experience Requirements: One-two years' experience in creative and technical design.
Required Skills: Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, PC skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Also, the ability to cope with constant change and adhere to strict deadlines. Must be able to multi-task.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
