Structural Engineer III
Cary, North Carolina
As a Structural Engineer III, you will perform structural analyses of low-to-high complexity on existing communication structures and prepare formal, written reports detailing tower capacity and recommendations for modifications needed to increase capacity. You will also be tasked with the design of new towers, tower foundations and basic-to-complex modifications to existing towers. Our client will also count on you to provide quality-control review of engineering services performed by other engineers. To qualify, you should hold a Bachelors or a Masters degree (preferred) in civil or structural engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 8 years of structural engineering experience within the construction or field engineering of steel structures is expected. Six of those years should consist of communication tower design and analysis. Engineer in Training (EIT) or Engineering Intern (EI) certification, along with Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is strongly preferred.
