PC Installation Technician

The PC Installation Team will be responsible for performing hardware and/or software configurations. The work will take place at the various client locations throughout the local area.
Setup and driver installation of all types of Print devices (i.e. dot matrix, Inkjet, Laserjets).
Remove PC from packing material, dispose of packing material and connect/ setup PC.
Assist in the delivery of computers, copiers and other ESI related equipment.
Install all type of peripherals and verify functionality.
Resolve hardware conflicts and troubleshoot PC problems.
Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
1-2 year of experience with computer hardware, configuration, software and operating system knowledge.
Working knowledge of computers and multiple Operating Systems (Win NT, Win 2000, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 7, Hardware Diagnostic Utilities).
Working knowledge of peripherals (including but not limited to video cards, network interface cards, SCSI adapters, storage devices, memory, etc.).
Ability to troubleshoot hardware conflicts and network connectivity issues.
Other Requirements:
Possess and maintain reliable transportation.
Possess and maintain valid drivers license.
Provide certificate of insurance with adequate liability coverage.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to work 10 hour days, 4 days a week. Typical schedule is 7am to 5pm, Monday through Thursday.
Education Requirements:
Required: High School Diploma or GED
