Job Description:
Senior Software Engineer/SSIS database developer is needed at a direct client site to work on their credit and collections systems applications. Responsibilities will include development, testing, maintenance, and support of systems supporting the business unit. The successful canidate will work closely with operations, logistics, and other IT teams in creating application solutions and resolving production support concerns.
The responsibilities of the Senior Software Engineer include:
Assist in non-production application support during testing of major system releases
Utilizes Microsoft based development tools for development and support of these systems
Utilizes development tools for development and support.
Interact with a variety of internal and external users and vendors to develop technical designs and review with the rest of the project team as appropriate.
Attain knowledge of Credit and Collections Systems architecture, systems and the data maintained in these systems
Design, development, testing, maintenance of the business systems ETL environment.
Liaison to 3rd party software vendors to review changes, implement software, and assist in troubleshooting issuesRequired Skills:
Experience with Microsoft Solutions; SQL Server 2008/2005, Integration Services (SSIS), Source Control (Microsoft Team Foundation), MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Access).
High-level understanding and experience in ETL (Microsoft Integration Services/SSIS)
High-level understanding and experience in SQL language (SQL Server 2008/2005)
High Level analysis and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Maintains technical knowledge within areas of expertise
Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education
Prior experience with support and/or development of batch processing and scheduling solutions is a plus.
Function independently and work well within a teamRequired
Experience:

years writing SQL
level 3 support or applicable customer service experience
Demonstrated ability of strong customer relationship skills, problem resolution and improved efficiencies and productivity.
Minimum Bachelor''s Degree in Information Services, Engineering Sciences or related field of study

years of progressive OOD development experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
