Changing the way organizations view their travel management information is no small task. In this role you will be part of a small influential team that owns the delivery of all Global Business Intelligence (BI) for American Express Global Business Travel customers. Through subject matter expertise, proactive engagement and as strong BI skill set, you will be expected to own the delivery of the Global BI strategy and land the one version of the truth concept for our global client base.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of business partnering to deliver quality work efforts, the ability to influence others, strong collaboration skills and a keen understanding of how to drive results within Operations, Finance, IT and/or Sales teams. You are a skilled navigator with demonstrated success leading work efforts across diverse, geographically dispersed teams to quality business outcomes. You are a thought leader; passionate about focusing relentlessly on the customer experience to deliver implementable ideas into all aspects of the business. You are capable of managing complex continuous improvement and transformation within business processes.
Key Responsibilities
Own product strategy, lead product development efforts, and contribute to the growth of the business
Provide direction in product development and operational support/execution while engaging at a necessary technical level to guide delivery.
Be a subject matter expert on the product's business and determine competitive landscape.
Serve as the product representative to customers in determining needs, Product planning, and communicating value propositions.
Manage business as usual activities including product performance, product effectiveness, metrics, P&L;, issue and defect resolution with vendors, American Express Technologies and other internal stakeholders, internal training, product materials, documentation, and internal and client communications
Manage budgets, funding requests, contracts, vendors, project and issue prioritization and execution
Execute maintenance releases and work closely with Product Development Managers in major functionality releases
Perform strategic product assessments, and define business needs for new capabilities, enhancements and to meet future growth needs
Influence multiple business and technology groups driving delivery of strategic objectives
## Qualifications

Years experience managing product and capability portfolios with a strong technology focus
3
Year experience in the Travel industry
3
Years experience in project management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, must be fluent in English
Ability to work in a fast pace, dynamic, virtual environment with many global stakeholders and stay calm under pressure
Consultative and negotiation skills to manage challenging situations
Experience with vendor and contract management
High level of technical aptitude
Highly organized and detail oriented
Educational Requirement
Typically holds a Bachelor's degree, or has equivalent work experience
Preferred Additional - Experience in SQL is a plus
Experience in web services is a plus
Experience with one or more Global Distribution System (GDS) is a plus

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
