In this role, you will manage the marketing strategy for a highly visible portfolio of GBT online products and platforms essential for the business travel operations. You will be responsible for defining product positioning and executing communication plans for individual products as well as integrated end-to-end business travel solutions. Also, you will be the key interface for gathering market, industry and competitive intelligence that will inform which new product ideas we prioritize and how we can clearly demonstrate their value to clients and travelers. The position requires a blend of strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a passion to improve the corporate travel environment.
The Product Manager role will:
Perform strategic product/ platform assessments, gather competitive intelligence and define business needs for new capabilities and enhancements
Define product/ platform vision, mission, goals and roadmaps
Partner with the internal and external stakeholders to drive the development based on the roadmaps
Define the marketing launch strategy, including pricing and billing, terms and conditions, contractual, compliance and other aspects
Execute launch plans in coordination with key stakeholders and cross functional partners
Develop internal and external product communications and marketing collateral
Participate in strategic client and prospect meetings
Prepare cost benefit analyses and funding requests
Manage product performance, product effectiveness, metrics and P&L;
Support product inquiries from sales, client management and technology sales
## Qualifications
5
years of experience as a product marketing manager of technology product and capability portfolios
Demonstrated success in product launches and end-to-end execution of marketing strategies
Excellent written and oral communications skills including presentation experience to large and diverse audiences, must be fluent in English
Ability to script and conduct product demonstrations
Seasoned experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Experience in project management
Ability to work in a fast pace, dynamic, virtual environment with many global stakeholders and stay calm under pressure
High level of technical aptitude
Highly organized
Experience in the travel industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
This position reports to the Director, Product Enablement and Platform Strategy.
