POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Lester Arnold High School is the alternative education campus within Adams 14 and with the 2013-2014 school year, begins a three-year transformation, funded through a Tiered Intervention Grant. The school seeks an Intervention Specialist to support interventions in math, reading and writing. Please note that Lester Arnold High School will have a two running cohorts during 2014-2015, one from 8:00 am to 3:05 pm and another from 10:25 am to 5:25 pm. The preferences of Intervention Specialists will be considered, although assignments will be based on student needs.

Qualifications:
Possess a current Colorado Professional Teacher license in a secondary content area.
Endorsements in language arts and/or math, required.
Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Educator or Linguistically Diverse Educator endorsement preferred.
Must possess knowledge of cultural diversity.
Knowledge and successful experience implementing research based interventions.

Experience:
Positive history for providing research based interventions in a secondary school.

Responsibilities:
Ability to progress monitor student achievement within intervention program.
Ability to model interventions to teachers.
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers to embed research-based interventions inside core subject area classrooms.
Ability to deliver individual or small-group interventions during intervention blocks.
Be a positive influence in a school and community.
Positive participation in school-based data teams.
Effectively communicate with administration, teachers, parents and students.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
