Paramedic Operations Supervisor, Eastern Connecticut Operations
This is a full time exempt position reporting to the Operations Manager, but must be responsive to any executive representative of the Company.
General Statement of Duties:
Responsible for the coordination and supervision of daily operations. Functions as a leader by providing ongoing direction and or facilitation of activities and projects in the assigned areas of responsibility.
Principal Accountabilities and Work Requirements:
Coordinate and interface with other in-house departments to ensure constant standardization of operations.
Coordinate and supervise the activities of personnel ensuring proper staffing levels as required.
Ensure all personnel report for duty on time, properly uniformed and in proper condition to perform all required duties.
Monitor daily operation activities, reporting any irregularities to the General Manager.
Responsible for acquiring the appropriate supplies used within the division.
Promote teamwork and employee morale.
Remain visible and accessible to all field personnel (EMS and Transportation), providing assistance, support, encouragement and discipline as needed.
Act as liaison between all field and managerial personnel.
Ensure that all employees are compliant with respect to company policies, local and regional procedures, state regulations and other information pertinent to operations.
Remain knowledgeable on all applicable policies, procedures, and protocols, maintain an ongoing, two way flow of communication with all team members.
Maintain records of all necessary and appropriate reports.
Maintain high levels of professionalism and efficiency in daily operations take independent action and make recommendations to the General Manager as appropriate.
Attend regular, special and/or other company meetings as assigned.
Implement company policies ensuring compliance with procedures, protocols and other standards.
Perform other related duties as assigned to assist in achieving company goals and objectives.
Maintain twenty-four (24) hour emergency on-call availability.
Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
EMT-P State of Connecticut certification/licensure with active medical control.
Minimum two years related experience in the field of EMS.
Demonstrated skills in leadership and supervision experience desirable.
Must possess good written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
RequirementsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
