Position Summary : Under general supervision of the VP, Operations, the Receptionist/Database Control Specialist Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies company personnel of visitor arrival and provides proactive support and general administrative assistance to the Operations Team. Partners with A/P, Finance, and the Sales to process item cost changes and manual customer credits. Primary Duties and Responsibilities : Reception: Welcomes visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries. Directs visitors by maintaining associate and department directories and giving instructions Maintains security by following procedures, maintaining log book, issuing visitor badges and serving as escort for company vendors. Maintains clean and presentable reception area at all times. Administrative Obtains and distributes incoming mail to correct departments / associates. Performs daily mailing of customer invoices and documents the quantity of invoices mailed for monthly reporting. Completes monthly man-hours report. Performs contractor and new associate orientation. Performs and/or assists with open enrollment activities as needed. Performs salary sheet reporting and associate time-card management. Maintians time off calendar Maintains pest control log book. Signs for routine services / deliveries to building. Assist AP by promptly forwarding copies of customer payments and checks to company lockbox. Forwards all vendor invoices to AP department. Maintains mailing supplies and postage machine. Distributes monthly sales flyers. Assists VP Operations with various needs and special projects Data Entry Generate and complete manual credit memos Set and maintain sell cost and pricing Process sell cost adjustments at the direction of sales management All other duties assigned by management. Qualifications - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Experience and Educational Requirements: Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent required; three (3) to five (5) years of experience in an office environment. Notary Public designation strongly desired. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry a plus. Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in mathematical or diagram form. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet Explorer. Knowledge of Company's proprietary FACTS and CRM systems is preferable.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
