Operations Manager Job Description
Summary:
Responsible for the coordination for all plant functions to ensure on-time delivery of manufactured items meeting quality expectations in the most cost effective system. Development and staffing for personnel requirements to enable production and quality goals to be met while minimizing manufacturing costs and utilization of assets. Main objectives are to (1) Ensure on-time delivery of customer orders; (2) Optimize personnel productivity and manufacturing costs, (3) Oversee manufacturing processes to yield first time capability and meet customer quality expectations; (4) Anticipate and resolve problems with short-term and permanent corrective action.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Select, motivate, train and ensure development of a competent departmental staff. Setup career development opportunities for all plant personnel.
Monitor and ensure departmental personnel conform to company policies and procedures while maintaining a safe and cost efficient environment at all time.
Be familiar with and ethically operate in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, customer standards, and governmental procedures relative to human resources, engineering practices, operations management, supply chain and financial reporting activities.
Establish, monitor and control plant budget that will effectively contribute to the overall manufacturing objectives and plant / business unit and company goals.
Develop and complete training and development plans for all direct and indirect employees to meet all business, regulations and customer expectations defined for current and future businesses at the plant.
Maintain internal and external communication for all operational indicators, reports and standards required for plant to operate.
Develop and monitor annual budget, investment and continuous improvement plans for financial and operational activities.
Insure complete customer satisfaction by insuring achievement of increasing expectations.
Employ techniques / methods for effective problem solving and continuous improvement.
Coordinates other deparments from plant to achieve Operational objectives.
Support the plants Continuous Improvement Operations based on safety, quality, efficiency, and/or cost constraints.
Communicates with customers and suppliers to identify and resolve concerns on an as needed basis and responsible to communicates all customer expectations and concerns to appropriate personnel ensuring that those expectations are met.
Directs all employees towards Goals with effective communication and support

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
