Description
The MEMS Sensor & Technology Group of Analog Devices, Inc. currently has a position open for a MEMS Accelerometer Designer. The primary responsibility of this position is the design and development of next generation MEMS accelerometers. Specific job responsibilities include:
Drive a next generation accelerometer sensor development from concept to production release.
Design, modeling and simulation of MEMS Accelerometer devices using design tools such as Ansys, Coventor and Comsol.
Design and simulation of MEMS accelerometer system design and architecture. Tools include circuit simulators and Matlab/Simulink.
Evaluation and verification of design models and targeted performance.
Work across organizational boundaries to insure that the MEMS and ASIC/process/package interactions are completely addressed.
Qualifications
Assumes Master's degree and 3-5 years related and progressive experience or PhD and 2 years experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science. MEMS design experience, including use of ANSYS and COMSOL a must.
For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. As such, applicants for this position except US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) may have to go through an export licensing review process.
