This customer centric capability role within the GBT Global Strategy Products & Platforms organization will be responsible for managing a suite of business travel platforms and products that will drive improved customer satisfaction and increased customer acquisition and retention. Demonstrating strong business acumen and technical skills, the candidate will manage a highly visible portfolio of GBT products and platforms essential for the business travel operations. This role will require high levels of collaboration between new product development, product management, operations, client management and technologies providing each group with clear objectives and direction to deliver the optimal product performance.

The Product Manager role will:
Manage the product lifecycle for a number of the core GBT product offerings, including portal and profile solutions
Manage product and platform performance and stability against SLAs and key metrics
Work with internal groups, vendors and technology partners to analyze, prioritize, track and resolve product and platform issues
Drive results by operating with a sense of urgency, employing effective time management and appropriate escalation to deliver results within deadlines
Serve as a vendor relationship owner for multiple vendors
Create work orders with vendors and oversee their completion
Manage vendors, contracts, budgets and funding requests
Execute maintenance releases and work closely with Product Development Managers in major functionality releases
Consult and partner with sales, client management, customers and other stakeholders to understand technology requirements, document the requirements and project plans and manage projects through completion
Participate in client calls to address product issues or defects as required
Perform strategic product assessments, and define business needs for new capabilities, enhancements and to meet future growth needs
Prepare and deliver internal training, product materials, documentation, and internal and client communications
## Qualifications

Years experience managing product and capability portfolios with a strong technology focus
3
Years experience in project management
Experience with vendor and contract management
Consultative and negotiation skills to manage challenging situations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, must be fluent in English
Ability to work in a fast pace, dynamic, virtual environment with many global stakeholders and stay calm under pressure
High level of technical aptitude
Highly organized and detail oriented
Experience in the Travel industry is a plus
Experience in programming and/or systems management is a plus
Experience in deploying/supporting portals and data management solutions is a plus
Experience with one or more Global Distribution System (GDS) is a plus
This position reports to the Director, Product Enablement and Platform Strategy.

Educational Requirement
Typically holds a Bachelor's degree, or has equivalent work experience
