Description
We have an immediate opportunity for a Senior Database Designer/Modeler whose primary responsibility will be database development, data modeling, data security and data integrity. This is not a traditional IT role, our team works inside the manufacturing organization to provide leading edge systems to support our semiconductor assembly & testing operations. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the skill and motivation to optimally design, develop, test and optimize the performance of new components and services as a member of an Agile development team. The role is also an excellent opportunity to work with senior business process owners to develop solutions with high impact on the organization.
Qualifications
Required Technical Skills:
BS Computer Science or related field

years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server developing complex transact queries including stored procedures, functions, triggers and views; SSIS developing complex ETL processes
Hands on experience with Transactional Data Modeling (OLTP) and Dimensional / Star Schema Modeling (OLAP) including all aspects of Logical and Physical Data Models to ensure data scalability, integrity, and performance.
Experience in MS C# and Entity Framework is required.
Expert-level knowledge of relational data models along with normalization concepts that impact application performance for large databases.
Strong SQL Skills to deal with a wide variety and complexity of data sources.
Strong Skills with SQL query optimization, performance tuning and index management
Knowledge of BI tools is a plus.
Required Business Skills:
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-visibility, time sensitive environment including developing on time and on budget and excellent project management skills.
Excellent interpersonal (both oral and written) communication skills combined with a successful history of working with different cultures and directly with stakeholders that include senior management.
Excellent experience developing on time and on budget. Excellent project management skills
Strong analytical, problem solving, prioritization and decision making skills.
