#### Primary Responsibilities

Responsible for incoming and outgoing inspection of test vehicles in accordance with
customer requirements
Responsible to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of instrumentation
n test vehicles and engines
Support customer engineering trips to remote locations
Able to work assigned shift; daytime, evening or weekend, as needed

#### Specific responsibilities
At all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct
High attention to detail and highly professional appearance
Perform incoming inspections on test vehicles and complete checklists
Install instrumentation, including thermocouples and sample probes, on test vehicles
Perform routine maintenance on test vehicles, such as oil changes and valve adjustments
Conduct OBD-II scans and generate reports
Become proficient at using the test cell automation systems
Become proficient at conducting vehicle emissions tests on a chassis dyno
Troubleshoot customer vehicles and engines to diagnose root-cause
Conduct engine and vehicle maintenance and component changes
Fabricate and/or modify engine and vehicle test components as required
Perform maintenance and small repairs on in house forklifts, vehicle pushers and man lifts
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance
Ability to work nights, weekends, and variable schedule(s) as necessary
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned
#### Profile
Associates degree in automotive, diesel, or engineering technology
Experience troubleshooting and repairing light duty automotive diesel power trains
ASE certification
3 - 5 Years of practical experience in engine and vehicle maintenance, repair, and
diagnostic troubleshooting
Ability to approach problems in a scientific manner and implement resolutions with
minimal guidance
Effective at communicating operational issues and test quality issues to engineers and
managers
Skilled use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.

Reports all incidents (actual incidents and near misses) in accordance with the SGS Incident
Reporting requirements.
Uses all equipment (including safety equipment) in the manner intended and reports any ''
damaged / lost equipment to supervisor.

Maintains awareness of hazards and proposes controls to supervisor, HSE Representatives or
relevant client / site contact.
Actively participates in incident investigations and risk assessments as deemed necessary by
SGS management.
