Individual will work within the gaming industry to handle the following:
Define strategy & roadmap for the studios technical development and drive its technological decisions in conjunction with key stakeholders;
Maintain and improve all game systems & legacy code and account for overall evolvement of existing games;
Own technical directions, technical documentation and quality of teams output;
Lead, mentor, support and train developers in order to enhance their skills and capabilities;
Spearhead the engineering efforts by defining software requirements and developing architectures, pipelines and processes;
Determine feasibility of the project by providing accurate estimates, prioritizing and assigning tasks to team members;
Hands-on with code, owning critical components and be able to multi-task;
Assist management with recruitment activities;
Technical Oversight and Tech Reviews of 6 Programming Engineers;
Minimum Requirements
Master's Degree in Computer Science or Equiv Foreign Degree;
7yrs Experience in Game Software Development Position across a variety of platforms;
Special Requirements
Must have Strong Skills in: Object Oriented Programming in C++, mySQL, Game Engine Architecture
