Description:
Provides technical services and support to clients and customer and sells automotive interior trim.
Responsibilities:
Provides technical support services to support sales operations.
Promote standard products and custom engineered products produced by our manufacturing facilities
Receives, researches, and provides answers to customer inquiries.
Works with customers to offer alternatives to problems.
Follows up on customer inquiries and research to assure satisfactory completion.
Prepares administrative reports and provides assistance to manager with special projects.
Manages, evaluates, and offers solutions to potential problem areas.
Remains current on changes in procedures and product offerings.
Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures.
Demonstrate strong team leadership by explaining technical issues to Sales Coordinators to support their requirements.
Must be able to work any shift and overtime as required to support customers.
Education:
Preferred B.S.Mechanical Engineering, B.S.Industrial Engineering, or BS degree with emphasis in automotive systems and/or engineering.
Experience:
Minimum of two years related experience may be substituted for college.
3-5 Years work experience in Sales or Engineering
Prior experience in purchasing preferable.
OEM experience a plus
Skills:
Ability to use various computer programs.
Proficient typing skills.
Ability to use MS Office software (Excel, Work, Project, & PowerPoint)
Proven ability to grow sales on a year to year basis while maintaining margins
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to travel (up to 25%).
