Quality Assurance Analyst (IT Security)

Key Responsibilities of the position includes:
- Knowledge of Security based Infrastructure such as Firewalls, Routers, Antivirus solutions, Directories, and Windows/Linux operating systems.
- Perform software, hardware, and other related testing within the Security Services Function.
- Perform testing activities including: test requirements gathering, test planning, test case creation, test execution, test summary and reporting.
- Perform various levels of test for Security projects such as: system testing, acceptance testing, and performance testing.
- Perform testing activities on multiple platforms including: Windows, Unix, Linux, WebSphere, Mainframe.
- Knowledge of industry standard security practices, security software, and security appliances will be helpful in this assignment.
- Knowledge of service management principles will be helpful in this assignment.
- Knowledge and experience in doing Vulnerability Code Scans with HP WebInspect is desirable.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills will be helpful in this assignment.
The combination of technical expertise and ability to navigate the organization and build relationships is critical. QA Analysts must have excellent communication skills from both written- and verbal- perspectives. Individuals in this role should enjoy interacting with others, have a passion for technology, and enjoy multi-tasking and quickly adjusting to shifting priorities.
