Job Title: Structural Engineer
Location: Lexington, MA
Duration: 12 months and 40hr/wk

Job Description:
Our client is supporting multiple programs and needs a structural engineer. The candidate will be asked to perform structural analyses including use of finite element methods on imaging and communication systems to predict mechanical response quantities including displacements and stress to meet structural integrity and mechanical system requirements. Specific analyses include predicting the structural response and behavior due to inertial and pressure loads, thermal environments, harmonic and random vibration disturbances, and shock environments. The candidate must have experience using commercial finite element software preferably experience using MSC/NASTRAN.
A M.S. degree or higher in Mechanical, Aero/Astro, or Civil Engineering with at least five years of experience in the work force beyond the degree program is required. The ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and to clearly describe results in oral presentations and written reports is desired. The duration of the assignment is one year.
