Dyn has an opportunity for a talented QA engineer to join their world class development organization reporting to a Manager of Web Development. This person will be responsible for developing an overall test strategy to ensure an exceptional user experience through our Web interfaces. He/she will augment an automated test framework to support products written in multiple programming languages across multiple servers. Additional responsibilities include the development, implementation, and execution of test plans, verification of tests, and the development of process support tools for distributed multi-tiered Linux based applications.
Duties:
Taking ownership of creating a test strategy that takes the software design, complexity, and other factors into account to clarify the major tasks and challenges of the test project.
Developing automated test runners for functional, performance, and load test suites across GUI, API, and command-line interfaces
Assisting in the definition of verification methods, tools, and configurations for product testing
Defining, updating, and executing test cases and plans for manual and automated tests
Tracking, and providing status on verification test efforts
Operating effectively and with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and escalate issues appropriately
Working with other members of cross-functional teams, Product Managers andEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
