This position is assigned to the Joint Operations Support Branch AD of the Special Communications Requirement (SCR) Division, Ship and Shore Based Electronic Systems Group, Avionics Department, Engineering Competency, Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD). This division applies proven engineering, technical and project management expertise to the design, integration, acquisition, installation and testing of command, control, communications, computers and intelligence (C4I) systems and related electronic equipment. You must be a US Citizen. Must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal & Regulatory Guidance. Suitable for Federal employment as determined by background investigation. Selectee may be required to successfully complete a probationary period. This position is a drug-testing designated position (TDP). You must obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Select and apply state-of-the-art information technologies to provide mission-essential command, control, communications, computers and intelligence (C4I) capabilities;
Mange projects designed to provide the division the Information Technology and software capabilities.
Provide project planning, define procurement strategies, and oversee project teams.
Provide system analysis and design and development and provide expert advice and guidance on a variety of complex issues.

Your resume must demonstrate each of the four competencies necessary to perform Information Technology Specialist work at the GS-13 grade level:Information Technology (IT)-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies as defined: 1) Attention to Detail - being thorough when providing oversight of information technology and conscientious about attending to detail in the application of IT network policies and procedures; 2) Customer Service - working with clients and customers (e.g., senior management officials, information technology personnel, research and development organizations, the general public) to assess technology needs of a network, providing technical information or assistance, resolving network problems, or satisfying expectations; knowledgeable about innovations in network IT products and services; and committed to providing quality products and services; 3) Oral Communication - expressing highly technical information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information; delivering technically authoritative and persuasive oral presentations; listening to others, attending to nonverbal cues, and responding appropriately; and 4) Problem Solving - identifying network technology problems; determining accuracy and relevance of information; and using expert judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

Creditable specialized experience includes experience performing systems analysis and hardware/software analysis; participating in procurement activities and project resource planning; evaluating project progress, system design and operational effectiveness and; providing technical support and recommendations on system improvements and new technologies.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
