## DESCRIPTION
1. Analytics - demonstrated ability to take large amounts of data, primarily in Excel, and analyze and draw conclusions from the data set. This is a significant portion of the job.
2. Collaboration - ability to work across global organization internally and global suppliers to conduct conference calls on a regular basis. Demonstrated experience in coordinating activities outside of US/ Canada will be very helpful, but not required.
3. Forecasting - support global flavors procurement lead by coordinating regional forecasts with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply
4 Accounts payable - Resolve A/P issues, as needed, working with global suppliers and internal regional contacts to close out A/P issues.
5. Systems - Individual would be expected to load items into Sharepoint and be able to work in SAP and e-procurement systems as needed (not a major part of the role, but this is an aspect).
6. Markets/ Industry Analysis - support the global flavors procurement lead in developing the global flavors procurement strategy. Analyst will conduct research to provide market, supplier, and industry insights to support the development of the strategy.
7. Commodities - Analyst will review key markets, such as mint, menthol, and other underlying commodities to provide global flavors procurement lead and business as part of risk management program.
This role is geared towards someone with the ability to work and to think strategically. While there are tactical activities in the role, tactical activities are not a focus of the role. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to grow and to learn in strategic procurement.
THIS POSITION IS FOR A PROCUREMENT ANALYST
This is an analytical role, using excel to manipulate data, must be able to use pivot tables, formulas, filters. Must have good critical thinking skills to conduct the analysis
