Job Description:
Purpose of the Position Support end-to-end SOA Implementation including architecture, installation, administration, configuration and deployment.
Design and develop IT solutions to improve business efficiency and productivity based on the customers' requirements.
Development of applications utilizes the WebSphere Integration Product suite and other integration tools.
Duties & Responsibilities
Seeking an experienced Java Developer/Architect with experience implementing SOA technologies on IBM platforms (WebSphere).
Experience implementing applications and services with other platforms such as JBoss, Tomcat or Web Logic is also acceptable.
Primary duties include:
WebSphere Process Server - Installation, Configuration, Deployment and Production support for multiplatform environments. Deploys and executes processes that orchestrate services (people, information, systems, and trading partners) within a SOA or non-SOA infrastructure.
WebSphere Integration Developer - Develop executable processes based on WS-BPEL, including IBM extensions and exposed the BPEL processes as Web Service, JMS Service, MQ Service or Http Service. Develop Process Server SCA components such as Business Processes component, Human Tasks component, Business State Machine components, Business Rules component, Interface maps, Business object maps, Relationships. Develop Mediation Module that performs protocol mediation, dynamic endpoints routing and complex data transformation. Utilize a wide range of adapters for interactions with people, data and systems.
Rational Application Developer - Develop Web Service (JSR 109, JAX-RPC, JAX-WS) using top-down and bottom up approaches.
Secondary duties include:
Designing and developing solutions for the integration of applications. The applications that are integrated operate on diverse platforms, to include Z/OS, AIX, HPUX, Solaris, Windows, and reside in geographically dispersed locations. The product suite used to perform the integration consists of WebSphere MQ Server, WebSphere MQ Client, WebSphere Message Broker, WebSphere Process Server, WebSphere Federation Server, IBM DB2 Enterprise Server, WebSphere Registry and Repository, WebSphere Modeler and Monitor, WebSphere MQ Internet Pass-Thru, Metastorm Integration Manager (formerly PM4Data).
Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science in related field.
5 years experience in direct support of software architectural process.

years software development experience.
Security
certification required to start.
Computing Environment Certification required to start: JAVA SE 6/7 Certified Professional or equivalent.
Effective communication skills able to lead other developers and interact with customer POCs.
Experience with SOA/Enterprise Service Bus related technologies such as Apache Camel, Mule, CXF, Spring Web Services or other equivalent data processing and communication service platforms.
Experience with core JEE design patterns.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Knowledge of community best practices, new/emerging patterns and anti-patterns.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Detail oriented with excellent time management skills.
Extensive background in Object Oriented Methodology.
Experience in the entire software lifecycle process including requirements, development, configuration management, testing and deployment.
Experience with Model-View-Controller (MVC) software architecture.
Experience with N-Tier Development.
Masters of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Engineering.
6 years Enterprise Java development experience.
6 years enterprise-level web-based software development experience.
Solid understanding of database design PL-SQL Oracle SQL programming and optimization.
Experience with IBM Telelogic, JDeveloper, Oracle Reports and C# .NET.
Experience with United States Army Accessions Command and the accession process.
Experience with United States Army Recruiting Command and the recruiting process.
