Description
This is a management position for an experienced Medical Staff Office leader.
Job responsibilities include:
Maintaining compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies
Developing and implementing credentialing/privileging processes and procedures
Overseeing development of and adherence to
Medical Staff bylaws
Department rules and regulations
Policies pertaining to medical staff, practitioner/provider, and the organization
Qualifications
Demonstrable experience in a the Medical Staff Office of a Hospital
Bachelor degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field
CPMSM or CPCS certification via NAMSS is preferred.
Experience utilizing CACTUS credentialing software
