Job Description
SUMMARY
Coordinates activities of team members engaged in recording hours of work, processing time records, compiling payroll statistics, maintaining payroll control records, and calculating payrolls by performing the following duties:
Compile and review team member time and payroll data from timesheets and other records for accuracy according to wage and hour regulations and company policies.
Enter time, process pay checks and compute team member earnings, deductions, taxes, and fringes.
Answer inquiries from team members regarding payroll
Prepare and assure compliance on government reports, multi-state and multi-local taxes, including W-2 tax statements.
Ensure all team member master file changes are complete.
Coordinate audit activities of team member compensation insurance, retirement plans and company records.
Prepare quarterly account reconciliations; resolve any resulting discrepancies in a timely manner.
Required Experience
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate''s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and a minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination. Experience in multi-state payroll and Timberline software is preferred.
